Green Mountain Coffee

Dear Rick,

This is great work and I wondered how Kaffe Magnum Opus might assist Green Mountain in its efforts.

My wife and I traveled with the SCAA in 2001 to many Guatemalan farms in support of the SCAA’s effort to improve quality. It was quite an experience and at that time we contributed directly to some of the farmers and their families.

I have wondered about Coop’s. There is a saying that sometimes programs can exist for the programmer. In this context I take it the members are all behind the findings, the tactics, recommended by the Coop Board.

I would like to stay abreast of this project and did subscribe to the feed, but did not see the orange button. I also posted a link to the article in re. the Nicaraguan Summit.

Green Mountain&#039;s work at origin is a good effort and I congratulate you and would like in some way to support it.

<description>[...] Helping Farmers With Food For Dry&#160;Spells Posted on November 10, 2008 by Bob Johnson A Strategic Summit was sponsored by Green Mountain to help find a way for some of the people in Nicaragua to more easily sustain themselves through difficult times, that is, when food is not in plentiful supply.  Kaffe Magnum Opus applauds this effort and is trying to find a way to support their work.  Here is a link to the page:  http://www.greenmountaincafe.com/2008/10/the-strategic-summit-nicaragua-april-23-2008/.
