About

Doug

We’ve created Green Mountain Cafe to be a place where the folks who make our coffee, and the folks who enjoy our coffee can come together and have a conversation… ’cause, well, we enjoy having conversations with our customers.

This site isn’t about selling you anything. (We have another web site that does that just fine, thanks.) Instead we simply want to share ideas, talk about what’s happening in our neighborhood and yours, and explore the wonderful stuff that’s brought us together: great coffee — grown by some amazing people – all over the world.

Welcome to the conversation!

    Love your coffee!!!

I felt I had to let you know that there is a problem with the paper cups we have been getting while traveling locally. We stop at the Western Door connivance store in Akwesasne, New York to buy coffee to go. The past two times my coffee cup leaked and it happens near the bottom of the cup where the trees are printed. The first time it happened there was only one hole and I was able to contain the seepage with a napkin. However, the last time I had coffee all over me as the liquid seeped all around the cup. I’m not sure why this happens, I get regular coffee and my husband gets cappuccino. My husband has never had a problem with his cup.

Since the cups are printed with Green Mountain Coffee on them I thought you might like to know that there is a problem.

    Sincerely,
    Patricia Spicer

I recently moved to Boston from Vermont, and was happy to find a corner deli nearby that served Green Mountain Coffee. (I also noticed the “green” advertising campaign you’ve have been running on the trains here, and thought it plays rather nicely in the city.) Nevertheless, like Patricia, I just wanted to let you know I have a similar issue with the cups. Mine is with the lids, however: once I leave the store, I’d like for the coffee to stay in the cup! I’d happily pay an extra few cents for a better quality lid that was more suited for the morning commute.

    Cheers,

    Jesse

Every year we vacation in Stowe, VT at the Trapp Family Lodge. Each year my husband says that we aren’t going to get a coffee every day, but we break that rule within the first two days. We love stopping in at the cafe on our way in on Saturday to get a coffee, and then every day after that until we drive back home to Northampton, MA.

We absolutely LOVE Green Mountain coffee!! Thanks for having the cafe to visit also! The staff is always so warm and welcoming! This summer our favorite was the Iced blueberry maple supreme! We even have my parents hooked on it now too!

We love you guys, and your coffee!
